The SUPERB program or formerly known as the Bumiputera Start-up Entrepreneur Scheme is a competition -based program business pitching which elevates innovative and creative business ideas as the theme of the competition. Among the main objectives of this program is to identify competitive Bumiputera start-up entrepreneur who apply creative and innovative practices in the production of their products and business. SUPERB has successfully produced a total of 183 Bumiputera start-up entrepreneurs and has helped realize their business ideas to a higher level since SUPERB was launched in 2014.

Start-up entrepreneur who successfully participate in the SUPERB program have the opportunity to receive a gift in the form of business development grant. For applications that are in the formation and development phase of an idea or prototype will have the opportunity to receive a business development grant amounting RM100 thousand. Meanwhile, businesses that are already in the pre-commercial or commercialization phase have the opportunity to receive business development grants of up to RM500,000.

Only eligible applications will be shortlisted to compete in the “Business Challenge” session. Applicants are required to present their business idea in front of a professional jury panel. The selected business ideas will advance to semi-finals where eligible applicants will have to undergo a three -day “Boot Camp” session before making their presentation in the semi-finals before SUPERB Evaluation Committee. If they advance to the final stage, applicants are required to present their business ideas again in front of a professional jury consisting of well -known Bumiputera entrepreneurs and corporate figures.


International Conference and Exposition on Inventions by Institutions of Higher Learning (PECIPTA) is a biannual program organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia together with its partner institution science since 2001. PECIPTA aims to showcase innovative products and services from institutions of higher learning (IHL).

PECIPTA also aims to enhance networking and collaboration among its participants, industry and others potential players to further explore and commercialise their products.

The iENA Nuremberg – International Trade Fair Ideas – Inventions – New Products – is the professional marketplace for ideas and inventions and the leading trade fair of contracts and excellent opportunities for investors and representatives of trade and industry.

The world of invention is waiting excitedly for the start of this year’s iENA, because it will be the event at which inventions from throughout the world will be presented to the public for the very first time; the inventions will be celebrating their world premiere at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. It is an important forum for enabling free inventors to get in contact with licensees and exploiters from all over the world.
